Baked Mutton Mince



Preparation Time: 30 mins

Cooking Time: 45 mins


Mutton Mince – 750 gms

Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp each

Coriander Powder – 2 tbsp

Red Chilly Powder – 1 tsp

Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 tsp

Bread slices – 2

Eggs – 2

Onions – 1 Large┬áSliced finely and fried to make golden brown birishta

Oil – 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Potato – 2 medium sliced to thin strips


1) Wash the mutton mince and drain the extra water from the mince

2) Marinate it with ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chilly powder, roasted cumin powder, salt and birishta

3) Add a egg to the marinate and mix it well

4) Soak slices of bread in water and remove them, squeeze them lightly to remove the water and mix it with the marinate

5) Add oil to the marinate

6) Break an egg on top and layer the potato strips on them

7) Preheat the oven at 240 degrees and put the mince in an baking tray and bake it for about 45 minutes

8) Remove the tray to check if the potatoes are done and mince is ready


Serve the baked mince with roti

Mutton Mince can be replaced with chicken mince also
